KRANNERT ACCOUNTING

CAREER FAIR

I hope your semester is off to a great start! This year the Krannert/PAA Virtual Career Fair is Thursday, September 9 from 12:00pm – 4:00pm using Career Fair Plus (CF+). Last year CF+ emerged as a favorite virtual platform of employers and it will be used by most Purdue career fairs this year. One of the favorite features is the ability to schedule appointment times with recruiters before the fair.

Career Fair Plus Account

Download the app or register online using your Purdue email address to create your profile. Once inside the app, search Purdue University on the Organization search bar. The list of the Purdue Career Fairs will appear and select the Krannert Public Accounting Fair. A “Meetings” button will appear on the bottom of the screen and this is where you can create your profile and upload your resume. * First Year students – you can use your HS GPA in your profile.

* Refer to the Career Fair Plus website for more details and two videos to help you understand how CF+ works.

Scheduling Appointments with Employers

Beginning September 2nd at 7:00am, you will be able to login into your CF+ account and schedule up to five virtual appointments with employers. When you login if you see “no schedules” that means the company has not entered their schedules yet. Companies create their own availability so check back regularly as companies continue to add schedules. Companies can schedule 1 – 1 or Group meetings. The five appointment limit will be lifted September 7th at which point you can schedule additional appointments.

The Krannert Virtual Career Fair, hosted by SMEF is Sept 22 – 23 and is also using Career Fair Plus. Companies with corporate accounting and finance opportunities attend and more than half are recruiting accounting majors.

Update Your myCCO Profile

Companies will continue to post positions, schedule interviews and search resumes on myCCO. Additionally, you can search the career fair company lists to see the type of students they are recruiting. Login to your myCCO account (1st Years too!) and follow the steps below so you are eligible to apply for positions and employers can access your resume.
